Connect
Proximity is power
On the evening of March 21, 2017, a small meeting at UFU marked the beginning of something much bigger. Prof. André — freshly returned from his PhD in Australia — sat down with three curious and determined undergraduate students: Matheus Reis, Danillo Faria, and Raphael Alves. United by a shared passion for technology and innovation, they envisioned a space where ideas could be transformed into research and solutions. That vision became the Form-Based Information Lab, dedicated to exploring the potential of computational simulation and Building Information Modeling (BIM) to shape the future of design and construction.
Since then, the lab has grown not just in projects and achievements, but in the people who have brought it to life. Each member, past and present, has left a unique mark on this story. Rather than list names and risk leaving someone out, we let our logo stand as a symbol of gratitude to everyone who has contributed to this collective journey.
If you’d like to learn more, collaborate, or simply connect, we’d be happy to hear from you at: informa3d@gmail.com
Kind regards.
